Happy Monday Cousin’s
Is it really a happy Monday? When a Monday chat pops up, it’s like our opportunity to connect. How can we grow together if I don’t share where I’m truly at in life?
The energy today feels so heavy, almost like a weight pressing down on everything I thought I knew. It’s as if life is testing every proclamation, I’ve made over myself, questioning my growth, my intentions, & my commitments. I woke up today with the thought, "What is really going on?"
On December 1st I declared, “It’s time to release the energy and identities that no longer serve me.”
It felt so freeing, so powerful. I was ready to shed old skins, to let go of the things that were keeping me stuck, the people and places that didn’t bring out the best in me.
But here's the thing about energy—it doesn’t care when you declare your intentions. It doesn’t care how ready you feel. Old flames, old connections, old energies have a way of creeping back in. It’s almost like they’re drawn to your declaration, testing your faith.
Since making that vow to release what no longer serves me, those old relationships have resurfaced in the most unexpected ways. It’s like energy doesn’t have a timeline or a warning; it just shows up when it pleases. And it’s funny how much those energies can still affect us, shape us, & mold us.
Relationships—especially the deep ones—hold power.
They can build us up, or they can break us down. Once someone has access to your spirit, once you let them in that deeply, you’ve entered the world of a soul tie.
6 Signs of a Soul Tie
You have an unhealthy attachment to a person.
You have an obsession with a person.
You take on the trials of another person.
You remain in an abusive relationship.
You have dreams, thoughts, and fantasies about a person.
You keep objects from the past relationship.
A soul tie isn’t just a normal connection.
It’s a bond, a deep emotional and spiritual link formed between two people, often through intimacy or significant emotional exchanges. These ties shape our lives in ways we can’t always see at first. They can make us feel connected and understood, or they can leave us feeling drained and empty. It’s that tug, that pull, that energy that lingers, even after the relationship has ended.
As 2025 approaches, it’s the perfect moment to take a step back and reflect on the things—and people—that may be holding us back. If something or someone isn’t contributing to your happiness, your growth, or your peace, it’s time to let it go. It’s a chance to release the burdens that weigh you down and create space for the things that truly nurture your soul.
Have you ever found yourself caught up in the energy of a soul tie? How did it affect you, and what did you learn from it? Let’s chat, because I’m sure many of us have been there.
LET GO and LET GOD (still platinum)...or as I say: LET GO and LET NIGGOD.
