Welcome to Chat’s with Candice!
I’m Candice, your new cousin on the spiritual growth side.
Prepare yourself to eat, drink, and be merry! In these newsletters we will be growing together off the goodness of the gospel. Each week I’ll be sharing a sermon centered around a character trait I’m working on developing for the month. You can look forward to chat’s full of notes I’ve gathered from observing sermon’s, reader resources, discussion questions, practical applications, studying segments, my personal perspectives, and an opportunity to fellowship with kindred spirits growing in faith.
My purpose for pivoting Chat’s with Candice is based on aligning my personal goals with my spiritual growth. My mission is to bring you on this spiritual journey of evolving into the highest version of myself as God intended, in hope that you’ll grow too!
"For where two or three are gathered in my name, I am there among them" (Matthew 18:20).
I pray you’re open to partnering with me for this new transition.
Since it’s November 1st, it’s only right to study the art of gratitude. One thing I know for certain is life is going to life. We can’t control it all, but we can learn how to navigate & adapt through it with the power of a positive mind. (AKA GRATITUDE) This month my heart and mind is focused on being grateful no matter the circumstances life may throw my way. Our speaker for the next 2 weeks will be Joyce Meyer on the topic “ The Power of Gratitude.”
Mood for this month:
There’s always something to be happy about 🧡

Sermon Message: The Power of Gratitude Part 1
Sermon Speaker: Joyce Meyer
Moral of the Message: A thankful attitude is the opposite of a complaining attitude
Sermon Snippets 📑:
Everyday isn’t guaranteed to be great
When things aren’t going right in your life, hold on to your hope
Create a mindset to thank God anyway
Train your sight on 1 thing that is going right
Have a honoring attitude
Start thanking God when you find yourself ready to complain
Being thankful and giving thanks are 2 different things
Being thankful-Appreciating
Giving thanks-Acknowledging
Acknowledge why you’re unhappy then appreciate why you should be happy
Give thanks and do it often
